Lundy Construction has been a vital member of the Ottawa business community since 1967. Our current civic activities and commitments include the following:
- Sean Lundy, CEO serves as board member for the Bishop Hamilton Montessori School and for the General Contractors Association of Ottawa
- Michael Lundy, President serves as a “Gold” member of the Kiwanis Club
- Don Anderson, V.P. President Business Development, is Lundy Construction's representative to the Ottawa Chamber of Commerce and serves as Chairman of their environment committee; he also serves as committee member for the role out of the new Canadian Green Building Council “Existing Building: Operation and Maintenance” LEED certification program for the Ottawa Region
- Lundy Construction is a Silver sponsor of the Ottawa Region Chapter of the Canadian Green Building Council
Charitable Involvement
Every year, Lundy Construction makes charitable contributions to community recipients or causes. Notable annual contributions on this list are the Ottawa Hospital, Parkway House, Beechwood Cemetery, Ski for Kids, Maison Libre-Elles, the Ottawa Humane Society and Kiwanis Club. We also have an annual bursary scholarship provided to the Youville Centre.
In addition to our charitable contributions and donations, Lundy also organizes and donates in-kind services for worthy organizations that require support with their construction projects. This year, Lundy organized and led a team of subcontractors, consultants and suppliers who provided support and in kind services to St. Mary's Home by renovating their medical clinic. St. Mary's Home is an Ottawa-based social service agency that provides a full range of programs and services for young pregnant women, young moms and dads, and their infants and young children. Other recent recipients of our donated and in kind construction services are the Youville Centre and St. John’s Church.
