Ray Friel Centre Expansion
This 3P (Public Private Partnership) project is a joint venture between Lundy, Serco Facilities Management, Griffiths Rankin Cook Architects and the City of Ottawa.
The concept for this project took more than a year to develop and our ground breaking in September 2004 was made possible through a tremendous amount of community support.
The 70,000-sf expansion of the existing Ray Friel Centre consisted of a new twin pad arena and included child care facilities, a physiotherapy clinic, and restaurant overlooking one of the new ice sheets.
The project was ready for community use in September 2005.
