The William E. Hay Youth Centre is a secure custody facility that has been expanded to accommodate 16 more young people for a total of 40. The facility serves youth ages 12 to 17, who are being detained or serving sentences. Construction of this project required complex phasing to assure the safety and operational functionality for the residents and the staff of the facility as the expansion was being built. In January 2009 Alex Munter, Director Youth Services Bureau of Ottawa, presented an award of appreciation to Sean Lundy And M.P. Lundy Construction in recognition for our company's leadership in bringing the William E. Hay expansion project to a successful, timely completion.
