A Mandate to Provide Premium Office Space
Construction at Innovation Drive began in July 2000 with the mandate of providing premium office space in Kanata for Marconi Communications as the prime tenant. The project consisted of three buildings totalling 119,000 square feet with a precast envelope.
Canderel Management Inc. sole sourced the $9-million project to Lundy Construction based on a previously established relationship on confidence and trust – knowing that Lundy could be counted on to meet the critical tenant delivery dates. Once underway and with progress exceeding projected milestones, Canderel awarded all tenant fitup work to Lundy.
To fast track the project, Lundy became involved prior to the design being complete and provided consulting to the Developer throughout all stages of construction.
