Doing a fit-up project for an architect’s own office isn’t as painful as it sounds – certainly not in the case of DCA. Lundy capitalized on its established, close relationship with Toon Dreessen and his team to deliver them a new home – all while providing the best design features possible for every construction dollar spent.
The new space was built-out in an older building. This brought floor leveling challenges and the Lundy team was able to assist by ensuring leveling work was done strategically and respected the various floor finish transitions. Lundy also provided Toon’s design team with a 3D capture of the entire space, making it much easier for them to review existing conditions with complete accuracy during the design process.
