The work undertaken at this downtown Ottawa address was extensive, transforming this aging building to the newest office standards for its many tenants. Under different agreements, Lundy provided a highly integrated, fully fit up space for the Treasury Board of Canada, the Department of Justice, a complete fitup for (14th floor), and also completed extensive demolition, renovations / upgrades to the base building. In all, Lundy completed 210,000 sqft of tenant fitup in less than 22 months. The work included security upgrades, meeting Federal Government Office 2.0 Standards, common space improvements and conference areas. Within the specified requirements of several different user groups, Lundy’s systems for managing workflow, timely communication, and the coordination of work within an occupied building were central to the project’s success and Lundy’s ability to get the work done within all necessary timeframes.
