This project included the construction of a 16,000 sq. ft. clubhouse for The Boys and Girls Club of Ottawa (BGC). The building is divided into two main area areas including the office/program space and the full-size gymnasium. The new building was designed with a hybrid masonry and streel construction to limit the effect of schedule issues with structural steel lead times.

Lundy was selected early on as the Construction Manager and assisted with design and constructability input to ensure the project could be completed in accordance with the aggressive, eight-month schedule (in order obtain the necessary government funding, the building had to be designed, receive building permits, and built between May and December of 2021!). The BGCO Taggart Parkes Clubhouse project was a prime example our commitment to creating a collaborative project culture and, by doing so, delivering phenomenal results for our client.
